Take Up WEAPONS AGAINST those who wish to Victimize You
When was the last time you felt uncomfortable or irked at some guy looking at you in a weird manner or leching with his buddies, whistling and being the cliched Road-Romeo? Just the other day, or everyday? Walking out alone or in a group of friends was considered safe even a few years ago in Bangalore or any big city like Mumbai. But everyday news reports SHOCK us with heartending and Infuriating articles of sexual abuse, rape, molestation (which is a crude way of saying 'Sexual ABuse') or the most common - 'Eve Teasing'
What a non-sensical terminology. There is no teasing going on here: It is Sexual Harassment & assault- No Less! Bystanders, the police even and sometines the media might put the blame on the Victim!
Give me a break! How the hell is the victim's fault???
The so-called law makers, upholders of the law and those who preach from high pulpits (Any Fundamentalist, Radical Political party for that matter) think that since a WOman, Girl or any person was victimized solely because of
1) Her dressing sense
2) Socializing (well that's a kick in the pants)
3) GOing out alone (Helloo!@# Aren't we supposed to feel Safe n Free in our own Freaking COuntry, State, City or even Neighborhood?? Come on Now
4) SHe led them on, Invited their attention (Preposterous! Even if someone walks down the road NAKED it is for Gentlemen, Decent Human Beings- Which India is Famous for, both in its Legends, History & Mythologies- To let the women BE!
It is upto WOMEN to FIGHT BACK & for the Decent Men folk in their lives and Men all over who need to grow some freaking balls and Come to the Aid of anyone who needs it!!!!!
It is only because there is a mass consensus among all that NOBODY comes to ANYONE's AID or Help, there is som much rampant RISE in Crime AGAINST Women and Girls!!!!!!!!!!
Another factor is the absence of an effective DETERRANT! A deterrant in the form of SWIFT & JUSTIFIED Corporal Punishment.
You Rape-You Die!
You Molest- You Die!
You lift a Finger against a woman - You Die!
That would BRING DOWN this Outrageous increase in Crimes against women!!!!!!!!!!1
